[FGD-221 Dimmer] Connect S1 to 230Vac Switch without Sx?

Recommended Posts

I have a FGD-221 Dimmermodule:

L - Live lead

N - Neutral lead

O - Load (Light)

Question:

Can I connect the black wire from a Switch to S1 (230Vac) without using the Sx terminal?

Take an ohmmeter: it says that L and Sx are shorted. So, within accuracy of the instrument - you can. But the final word belongs to Fibaro guys.

Yes, that is possible, the L and Sx are internal connected. I have done it here without any problems.

Lambik,

Yes you can. On Sx you will always have the same signal as on the L. Just please be sure that you will conect the same phase to S1 then on the Live wire.
