Support for Philio multisensors?

dhanjel

Question

Are the multisensors from Philio supported, and if not, are there any plans to include them in a near future?

Please login or register to see this link.

Personally, I think that the "PSP01-1/-2/-3/-4 PIR Motion Sensor Z-Wave Serie" really looks interesting.

Krystian hinted toward an announcement for some sort of multisensor by Fibaro at the beginning of January. This would in my opinion also explain why they won't work on support for the Philio Tech. Let's hope my assumptions are correct...

  • Read something about it too, I'll wait with the multisensors until CES ends.

It would be great to have support for these devices. I have five Philio PSM02 which at the moment only report breach globally in Fibaro HC2, i.e. magnetic sensor and pir breach together. Lux and temp not working at all. Having own products on the way shouldn't be a good reason for not supporting other vendors.

@fibaro, please add full support for this nice device.

You can make a Virtual Device for the temp.

Just get the valueSensor value from the device and write it to a label.

Lux can't be read by HC2 now, but it does work as a threshold for switching the light on. Which means: it won't turn on the light if door/pir breached and it's light already.

    @rb338

    Thanks I will try that!

One would think that it shouldn't be so hard for Fibaro to add this support to make life easier for their users, since part of the support is already there (PIR/magnetic). I am migrating from both Zipabox and Vera, and expected a little more from Fibaro to match the price. Yes, over all the HC2 is better, but with flaws that surprises me for a product that is supposed to be top end on the market.

Is this sensor still not supported?

Please login or register to see this image.

/emoticons/default_icon_cry.gif" alt="" /> I ordered 12 devices because it´s small and not so expensive. And it´s the only device with a combination of lux, PIR and window control.

Do I have to send them back or does anyone expect a solution for this sensor in the near future??

What do you mean by window control?
