Try this

Streaming/channels/2/httppreview

You will need to go into the camera interface and select MJPG compression for the sub stream first

Same problem with Hikvision camera , DS-2CD726F-PT. i didn't find any good technical manual for it in web including stream paths and any command for its pan & tilt functions.

Does anybody have the same experience in a similar case and also any advises.

    I solved myself the question:

You have to make the second camera stream to MJPG

    jpg stream : Streaming/channels/1/picture

    mjpg : Streaming/channels/2

    It works

I'm very satisfied with the camera itself..

You cannot do PTZ from HC2 because it doesn't have motorized PTZ(only manual adjustment)

I do not have commands set to be put in HC2 camera configuration, however I found out that jpg path is Streaming/channels/1/picture

and MJPG path is Streaming/channels/2 Be sure to put substream on lower resolution and frame rate

@emariu Thanks for yr.advice and sharing , it works once we follow yr.commands.

    mjpg : Streaming/channels/2

I had to set my mjpg url to Streaming/channels/2/preview to make it work.

    Hi

I have HC2 (FW: 4.042) and just got new HikVision IP camera DS-2CD2132F with quite new FW V5.2.5.

I set second stream to MJPG, but still cannot make this camera working with HC2.

Camera settings are quite standard, I only change second stream to MJPG, 640x480, variable bitrate

    At HC2 I set:

Camera model: "not on the list"

    Login: admin

    Pass: 12345

(both are standard values for new camera, and I can use it to login to the camera panel, so it is fine)

    IP address: 192.168.2.6

(I set camera IP to static value, and I have no problem with navigation via http)

    JPG path: Streaming/channels/1/picture

    MJPG path: Streaming/channels/2/httppreview

    PTZ fields empty.

HC2 does not show any picture. I restarted all - still the same.

When I use web browser and enter

Please login or register to see this link.

i see the picture from the camera. So all is fine. But it is big one, 1920x1080.

When I go to VLC and start URL stream with address

Please login or register to see this link.

it asks for user and pass, I enter admin and 12345 and I have proper live view.

So this confirms that used URLs are fine.

    Only HC2 cannot connect.

Maybe it is not able to handle user logging?

HC2 is set to show JPGs within camera incon, when I am at "my home" level. But it is empty. JPG is available without user name and password.

I read lot of thread about HikVision and Fibaro - when people got proper URLs, convirmed that all works fine.

I also tried Streaming/channels/1/httppreview as suggested above. No progres.

I tried to use \ in place of / - still same

I tried to add / at the beginig, as: /Streaming/channels/1/picture  - does not help

I also checked all using IE and FireFox. No picture.

    Maybe I missed somethink small.

    Do you have any hints?

try this for both the preview links:

    JPG path: Streaming/channels/102/picture

    MJPG path: Streaming/channels/102/httppreview

on my 2132 I both use the /102/picture httppreview doesn't seem to work.

    cheers

I have just tried. Still no picture.

I tried picture URL also in browser.

For URL as [Camera_IP]/Streaming/channels/[iD]/picture where I use any ID, 1,2, ... 50, 102 - I always get the picture. So looks as if for pictures it has no meaning.

In Camera Configuration Panel, section Local Configuration I see "Live Preview Paratmeters". I can choose protocol TCP, UDP, MULTICAST, HTTP.

There also next settings. Maybe here must be set somethink special. I use default parameters:

Protocol TCP, Live Preview Performance: Auto, Rules: Disable, Image Format: JPG

I tried different protocols, no change at Fibaro.

    Ok, that's was the hint.

    I haven't installed plugin for HikVision CD2132 !!!!

After installation of the plugin all started to work.

Thank you. It was never mentioned in all the hints I found at different websides. Everyone focused on proper URL parametrs only.

But as the camera model I still have "model not on the list". HikVision was not added to the list. Is that right?

device kind in the plugin gives me the right camera model. And I'm also running fw 5.2.5

    Hi again

I reinitialized the camera, and I have just found button "ADD" at plugin info page.

So I added it this way now. At new device the type/kind is fixed to "Hikvision ds2cd2132i"

I entered proper IP, user and pass (still default: admin 12345).

    JPG stream was empty

    MJPG is videostream.asf?user=self.properties.userName&pwd=self.properties.password&resolution=64&rate=0

With such setting camera does not work.

I updated JPG and MJPG as recomended above, to Streaming/channels/1/picture etc, also with different IDs.

    Still nothink !?

I did all using PC and webbrowser IE and/or Chrome.

I checked Android smartphone with Fibaro app, and there the added camera is working (!)

So this is the mystery for me again.

Do you have proper picture from camera using web browser and Fibaro web ui?
