Hi Everybody,

I am struggling with this IP camera. Tried almost anything but can not get a picture to show in Homecenter.

I have these links configured:

For JPG path: cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=XXX&pwd=XXX

For MJPEG path: cgi-bin/CGIStream.cgi?cmd=GetMJStream&usr=XXX&pwd=XXX

These work fine in a browser, but in homecenter NOT

Please login or register to see this image.

What am I doing wrong??????

MJPG stream URL: cgi-bin/CGIStream.cgi?cmd=GetMJStream&usr=XXXXXX&pwd=XXXXXX

Turning left URL: cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzMoveLeft&usr=XXXXXX&pwd=XXXXXX

Turning right URL: cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzMoveRight&usr=XXXXXX&pwd=XXXXXX

Turning up URL: cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzMoveUp&usr=XXXXXX&pwd=XXXXXX

Turning down URL: cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzMoveDown&usr=XXXXXX&pwd=XXXXXX

Stop movement URL: cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzStopRun&usr=XXXXXX&pwd=XXXXXX

    Guys,

I have tried everything, but nothing works. Thumnail in homescreen works, but no video etc.

What am I doing wrong, tried almost everything and I have searched through the forum

    Here is my settings:

    cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=XXX&pwd=XXX for snapshot

    cgi-bin/CGIStream.cgi?cmd=GetMJStream&usr=XXX&pwd=XXX for MPJG

What I dont get is that If I copy the image url that fibaro returns:

Please login or register to see this code.

    the browser returns

Please login or register to see this code.

which according to the CGI user guide is " CGI request string format error ".

    if we url decode it:

Please login or register to see this code.

i get a working url in the last bit

Please login or register to see this code.

No Idea what to do to fix this!

If you have no mpeg stream you should put obly one time:

    http://:/cgi-bin/BGIProxy.fcgi?usr=&pwd=&cmd=setSubStreamFormat&format=1

that is true, as the camera by default does not have this set up.

    format=1 is for mjpg

    format=0 is H264

I have it set for 1 and both my urls for shapshot and mjpeg work, but not on fibaro :/

For my Foscam FI8910W it´s getting more and more strange. Now I have an MJPEG-Video on my Fibaro Iphone App, but on the Homescreen of my HC2 via PC I still have no picture / video. I don´t know what to do....

    [ Added: 2014-06-04, 19:33 ]

I found a solution: I changed the standard browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox and now I have a MJPEG in my home screen too.

Unbelievable, because it worked with the same URL in a different folder of Internet Explorer too, but not in the Fibaro GUI....

Thanks - yes I updated the Foscam to the latest and greatest - the picture is now working, but I cannot get the video to work. Still persisting if anyone has any suggestions.

Currently using these settings from Foscam:

Did you enabled the MJPEG stream as makskk sugested?

It has to be done again when the firmware has been updated.

Yes - I went through it step-by-step again and the image portion works, so I can take a snapshot, but not the video portion....
