Gps tracking

It never worked for me but now by playing around with it it works ....partially.

On my iphone i logged in with admin account trough wifi.

Suddenly the familypanel showed up in the UI

Ok so far......

So i was thinking by logging in with another useraccount that this user also should show up in familypanel but it doesn't.

Strange thing is that my HC2 keeps track of the places that i've been by using the account that doesn't show up in familypanel.

What am i doing wrong here ?

Lode,

Try following:

1) Create new user (not admin), if you don't have done yet.

2) Enter via this user in Iphone.

3a) Check settings in Iphone (Geolocation ON for Fibaro, etc).

3b) Check settins in access control panel in HC2 ("How frequently GPS position from the user’s iPhone should be collected")

4) Wait about 3-5 hours for first time.

4) Check you family panel.

I think that is some delay in first run.

I figured it out yesterday.

Only thing is that app always has to be running but that problem you be solved in next version.

Why do you have to wait this long?

Im trying to make a variable where im home/away according to GPS. and i can't seem to get it working. Iv made a "test" location in panel away from my home. then making a scene that says if im away from that zone a light goes of. And since im "away" from that zone now, that lamp should go off right?

Why does vera ui7 use virtually no battery on my phone yet fibaro DESTROYS it?

vera ui7 seems to be SO reliable in comparison! I was going to try and use the vera api but this edge i have seem to be faulty and I am not sure I want a replacement after my initial experience but was just intrigued by the vast difference in battery usage!

Can anyone advise?
