    you can use it as phone, like Skype, but i think only local network.

    some example :

    you have a video door phone that supports SIP/VOIP, some one press the button,

    it will call you on your mobile phone or house phone(if it works with voip) so you can answer the person in front of your door.

    you can test it if you will with 2 devices like iphone or android phone.

    make 2 users in voip panel, like

    Name: user1

    Voip nr: 1001

    Password : 1234

    Name: user2

    Voip nr: 1002

    Password : 1234

    then download linphone on your iOS or android device

    in linphone :

    User name = Voipnr see above ( 1001 )

    Password = Password above ( 1234 )

    Domain = ip of your HC2 ( example . 192.168.0.200 )

    after you put everything in linphone save and restart your HC2

    if everything is ok, you can call user1 with 1001 press call in linphone user2 , vice versa

    Can someone please explain me what can be done with Voip panel in HC2 ?

    Thank you, I understand now..but it's not very usefull for me, anyway

    Local LAN access is not what I need, because SIP or voip intercoms are very expensive and I would have liked to make my intercom ring me on my mobile phone, to talk to the person on my door gate.

    I have a www. voip provider(SIP) that I would like to use with HC2 when the door button is pressed>My ip camera on the gate has also audio microphone incorporated,maybe I can use that in my scene?
