Foscam FI8910W - HESTIA CAM-I32MB

I've got a HESTIA CAM-I32MB that is equivalent to Foscam FI8910W model.

I've update the firmware to 11.37.2.54 version.

When I access directly the camera it works

But when I'access from my HC2 I've got a black picture like this :

But if I do these actions the result is different ... let's see !

First I access directly to the snapshot from this url :

192.168.0.48:13900/snapshot.cgi?user=&pwd=

then I access to the camery without the parameters user and pwd.

A AUTH box is showed, and I type my Foscam login and the password.

Then if you access again the url, you don't need anymore to send the login because it is in the session of your navigator

And if you access to your HC2 module, you will see the image appears

This is a trick but it works once.

How to resolve this problem for ever ?

An explication could be the HC2 doesn't send the right parameter's name...

i had similar issues with FI8918W after upgraded to newest firmware (.54)

according to my experience you must now have user and password in the URL-string.. MJPG stream URL and all other URLs for steering camera

I use this for MJPG stream URL:

videostream.cgi?user=XX&pwd=XX&resolution=32&rate=13

&resolution=32&rate=13 is optional, but i noticed that framerate sank the HC2-system when cell phone was in 3g/4g. 13 means 3 FPS. 0 means full FPS

i hope this solves your issues aswell

Hello,

I've a strange problem.

Even with the URL containings user&password, when I use the direct access to the HC2 (via the IP), it's does not work. If I log first via my browser on the camera, than it's ok (cache of credentials in the brower).

But in any cases, an access via home.fibaro.com works and I have the image of my cameras...

Any idea ? I am using 3.580

I have the foscam FI9831W, which had the same problem. After setting an operator user account beside the admin account solved all of my problems.

I have the same problem with my FI9831W ,but I tried your advice with another operator account and it did not work. I still have no picture in the HC2 interface..

And I puter new user and password in the snaphot/mjpeg links in the advanced settings

I have a Foscam fi8910w, in fibaro HC2 the video do not float the video picture hacks, but in Foscam own app it works fine. ?
