Looks like the US plugs are almost ready and deviate from others being double and usb chargers build in. Also the gesture thing shown I haven't heard wind of.

With the horrible large UK plug design, I assume that if a UK one is created it would have to be similar to the US.

Thanks for the info.

Sad but can't blame them.

UK plug is a horrible oversized item that the UK should standardise with the rest of europe. All it does is puts up the price of UK products to consumers and gives UK companies an export disadvantage. Adds nothing. Even the US plug is better.

I can find ways to workaround it.

In fact, I could not agree.

UK plug is the best I ever seen (bear in mind I used schuko for 28 years before moved to England)

1) Safety for children (very hard to insert anything except plug itself)

2) Each plug fused -> safety for everyone.

Yes, it is bulky a bit, but not a big deal.

Already got 7 Schuko wall plugs and they are great, but wouldn't mind swapping / adding to with a proper UK type.
