How to configure Fibaro RGBW Controller to control LED light

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have managed to create a scene with HC2, which

- gets temperature information from Evergreen thermometer

- turns RGBW led light on/off depending on the temperature, eg. ON if temperature >30C (controlled with Fibaro RGBW Controller).

What I am aiming at is that the scene should control also the color of the led light. Colors can be currently changed manually using HC2 interface. However, I have no idea how to set specific color for the RGBW Controller in the scene. Eg:

- If temperature >30C then Fibaro RGBW Controller -> led color = white

- If temperature >40C then Fibaro RGBW Controller -> led color = yellow

- If temperature >50C then Fibaro RGBW Controller -> led color = orange

- If temperature >60C then Fibaro RGBW Controller -> led color = red

Thanks in advance!

Looks like you need to use LUA to make it happen?

Yes, you'll need to adjust the script to suite your needs. Shouldn't be very difficult now.

    Oh yes,

it was rather easy, thanks to sample script. Looks cool!

However, seems to me that I need to replace the Everspring gadget with Fibaro's thermometer because Everspring operates only up to 50C.

    Thanks!
