i bought a flood sensor, after 3 weeks batt low

i just bought a smoke sensor, hope it last longer then that

so whats the expected life of the battery operated fibaro moduels?

is 3 weeks normal? i don't want to replace the battery's every three weeks

or is it just bad luck?

There is something else I think. I have door/window sensor on my door with DS18B20 over 6months now and battery level shows about 75%, same with Flood sensor.

Have your devices properly configured?

    yes, they are properly configured

    maybe just bad luck

But when you installed the devices - how was battery status then?

Have you changed any parameters or wakeup time?

when i bought them, i added them and changed nothing

    next day 75%

my visonic sensors work for months (almost a year now)

hope that the smoke sensor is better, i wanted to change all my visonic smoke sensors for the fibaro's

if battery life is less then a couple of months i'm keeping the visonics

I have 6 Door sensors , for 6 Month now , they are still at 75 % so I am sure you have a problem with yours

    hmm, just bad luck.

i will see what happens, if the smoke does the same then it's a one way trip to the dump

I have the same problem with my door sensors and 1-2 flood sensors. After I installed new batteries in them and they all ran for months already. Seems to me batteries quality problem and nothing to do with the system or devices.

I had this on one of my door sensors too, after I moved to HC2 (worked fine for weeks on another controller). After excluding it an reincluding with a new battery, it's been running fine for months. Seems to me something went awry during inclusion.
