Dead Nodes and Scene to Wake them Up

chatting

Question

I have a system with over 140 switches within my house. Sometimes some of them turned into dead and having crosses on their icons. I then have to wake them up manually via iPhone or clicking on the computer keyboard. The problem is, when I have a scene, for example, watering the garden turned on, then the node entering the dead mode. When the HC2 scene instructed it to turned off, there was no response from the water tap. So water was running for hours without notice. I'm thinking of writing a scene to regularly wake up all the nodes or do it before any other scenes become active.

Can anyone help how to write this scene?

  • Thank you very much rantta. I have just created the scene. It's very good. But one more question, how can I put the wake up scene as a module inside a graphic blocks scene? Then I can every time using it whilst running the other scene.

    rantta,

I have cut and paste that script and ran it. It showed that nobody dead but there were still dead nodes in my system. I then click on the switch icons then came alive. What I have done wrong?
