Question

I just bought a couple of Phillips Hue Lights and started to look at their API, witch is great.

I realized that it would be possible to create a full integration with HomeCenter. Of course it will take some time to get everything in place but its possible. Before I started I just would how many of you are interested in this, as many of you know there is two way to do these kind of integrations: QuickAndDirty or the RightWay.

If there is a big interest amongst you I'm willing to do it the Right Way, if you want to be apart of development that would be even greater.

Please answer the Poll and I you want to be apart of development PM me.

What integration methods do you have in mind? I started on a Virtual Device for a single bulb using LUA. Since port is most often 80 I'm using the TCP Port field to instead put the light number. This makes it easier while importing and exporting the light.

I've attached my current virtual device. Perhaps you can use that for inspiration.

Hi! New to the forum - I've ordered some Hue bulbs and will be doing a little programming of my own, but if you are doing something really nice, I'd be very interested in it instead!
