[JointSpace] Controlling your Philips TV

Question

Posted

Does anybody figured out to control a Philips TV by a Virtual Device yet?

APi (json) docs:

Please login or register to see this link.

Enable JointSpace on your TV: Press 5646877223 ("jointspace" in tripple tap) on your remote. It will confirm with "JointSpace enabled" message on your TV.

I've tried several time but I'm not able to enable JointSpace

You must have a >2010 model and must have the latest firmware installed.

Check your mobile Philips MyRemote app for further details.

Hmm, I'm trying to get this working, but I don't have response from the Philips TV.

Althought Jointspace is enabled and I can use the Philips Remote app (android).

When putting the url in my webbrowser:

Please login or register to see this link.

my browser states it can't connect.

For debugging reasons I have made a virtual device with this code:

Please login or register to see this code.

When debugging I got from variable response and status nothing and errorcode = 2

The Philips TV is a 2009 model with the latest firmware connect by Wifi.

Help me out here, what am I doing wrong?
