Hello all,

I am having a small problem with setting up my motion detected lights on the stairs.

Whats my plan:

Please login or register to see this image.

When the Vision1 detects motion the lights in the hall goes on for 1 minute. When you arrive at the first floor the second (Vision2) detects movement. When there is no movement for 6 minutes the lights go off. If not, the lights stay on. When you go to the second floor the Vision3 detects motion. When there is no motion for 3 minutes, the light go off.

What have i done so far:

I created 2 scenes: 1 for lights on and 1 for lights off

f3RUSTOG

McdTNRwE

I created another scene to turn the lights on when motion is detected

U5r8EYAe

And i created a scene to switch off the lights on the first floor

MNgCGrUA

And i created a scene for the ground floor ans second floor floor to turn off

WdutBZxD

Well, this won't work :-|

The light go on when motion is detected and it stays on for the breached period, after that it goes off.

Maybe the experts can help me a little...

Equipment:

3 x Vision Motion sensor VIS_ZP3102

2 x Fibaro 1*3 kwh switch

HC2 :-P

Hello hugohekk,

I think best way is to use this timer function:

Please login or register to see this link.

There is guide how to do virtual device which will turn off your stair lights. And then you will make scenes where vision 1 sets timer to 60sec, vision 2 sets timer for 180sec and so on.

Very easy to do this way.

Hi Hugo, I assume you'll manage with the link that Lauri gave, if not, just let us know.

What is your experience with the Visions so far? Do they work reliable as far as detection goes? How's the temperature sensor, is it accurate? Must say, I have 2 of their devices so far (the siren and the garage door sensor), but they are amongst the easiest to include and stable as can be. I'm still a little bit in doubt on what to do; EZmotion, Vision, wait for the (ugly) Fibaro's…

The Vision does the job well, but I have no reference as in other products. The settings of the Vision are very limited. Only the breached time can be set. If I were you I should wait for the Fibaro version.

The temperature is pretty accurate btw, but I have no idea how to get it out of the Vision. You can see the temperature in the web app but you don't see it in the iPad or iPhone app. Something to work on in a next project I think

I have setup the script as described here

    (thanks Lauri, )

It is working but not exactly as i hoped it should do. Here is my question:

Is there a possibility to adjust the timers in a negative way? In short, the last breached Vision has to overrule the timer.

I hope someone can help me to adjust the code

After the last update the advanced lightning is working perfectly.
