Motorised Gate

Question

Posted

Hi !

I have a motorised sliding gate which is triggered by a single push button momentary switch. A single push will open the gate until it opens up fully. Another single click will close the gate until it closes fully. If I click the button during the gate is opening or closing, it will stop the gate.

Do I use the roller shutter module or the relay module to automate this into my HC2 ?

Thanks.

    I use a 3 kw switch.

This is how to wire up

    You can do even more........

When somebody uses the remote control that belongs to your motor HC2 never knows wether your gate is closed or not.

So i attached a magnetic sensor to my gate wich is connected with a universal sensor.

So you can even generatie an alarm if somebody tries to force open your gate or closing the gate automatically at a certain time, mine closes always at 22.30.

Just to double check, I don't see any connection to S1 or S2. Where do you connect your physical switch to?

    I use a 3 kw switch.

I don't use a physical switch but if you are it's just the same.

Just power up your switch, you don't need S1 or S2 because it's an N/O contact.
