Automatic Water Pump with water level indication on mobile.

mpatel0902

Question

I am new HC2 user. I have done basic home light automation now its time to move on.

I planning to Design automatic water pump system which should start when water in tank is below the 50% and stops pump when level reached to 90%. It will be great if it shows water level on mobile.

Is any one has any idea how to make it possible.

There are 0-10V output water level sensors available which you can connect with Fibaro RGBW. This way you can see always the water level and using Fibaro Relay switch you can create scenes where pump will be turned on when water level drops below certain level.

I think it depends on the water tank you have (size etc). Maybe it is best to ask from your local businesses which are dealing with similar things:

Hello,

I think that it will be easier to use Water level sensor but with BINARY output - it should be cheaper solution:

Of course any binary output can be integrated by Universal Binary Sensor od Door/window sensor
