I haven't tried, but in theory, yes. It is capable of sending messages from virtual devices. You just don't have the same level of freedom because you can't use lua to change the message you are sending dynamically.

But I have no experience with the HCL. It is simply to limited to be useful IMHO

I have no more idea about this LED. But I know a company, which provides good LED lights. I bought some LEDs from this company. I think this will give you some information about your problem. You can visit here to know about that company: www[dot]mvphydroponics[dot]com

This is spam... Those are grow lights and have nothing to do with zwave lights or any alternatives.
