Alarm Integration

I've been trying to search for information about integration between HC2 and different alarm panels. I would be great if we can build a kind of database of systems succesfully integrated. Particularly I'm looking on how to integrate panels from DSC, Caddx or Paradox (mainly used in my country).

I have a Caddx NX-8E (with RS232 port) panel to try if someone can point me how to start doing some tests.

It would be great to have more information on how to integrate alarm panels using relay switches and universal sensors like in this post:

There is also a lot of information about the integration of a Satel Integra Alarm, but this is a mainly European system not used in Amarica (am I wrong?).

In summary it would be great if we can build a kind of database with as many models and methods as possible. I will try to organize everything in a useful way.

Im also interested in integration of Caddx NX-8. For now i use a universal sensor to check if

1: system is armed (system armed output type 21) - to turn off devices and as a variable in scripts.

2: alarm breached (siren output type 0) - send me push notes, email and control light. Backup thru GSM-transmitter and phoneline to guard company.

For now i don´t trust HC2 to acutally control my burglary alarm. I don´t want a hickup in the HC2 to disarm the house when im on vacation.

This solution could be used on any system that has two outputs, "Sirén" and "Armed" for example. To arm and disarm you could use a keyswitch zone.

If i could find out how to disconnect the inputs and outputs of a 2x1,5kW relaymodule that one unit could be used for the integration with an option to arm/disarm and also use output 2 to "transfer" alarms from HC2 to a zone on the intrusionpanel.

Inprogress: Programming another output on the NX-8 to bypass the "armed" input when doing a "stay home arming". (bypassing PIRs in the house). Should be easily done with output type 8 in series with output 21 and maybe a little delay in the script

EDIT: Done the programming now and it is working and because i bypass before i arm i don't need to have any delay.

The last code could be used to send Fire alarm or anything else, just program your intrusion panel output accordingly.

The NX8 is not actually talking to the Home Center 2, I use alarm outputs (relays 1 and 2) on the NX8 and connect them to the universal sensor as you would if you connected it to an motion detector.

Then I have made scripts to do things when the input on the universal sensor i activated.

I cant control the NX8 (arm/disarm), only send push notifications and emails thru the HC2.

It´s easy to send a push or email with (pictures from the cameras).

Im a little allergic to allow control of my burglary alarm via internet so I don´t think I will do anything more than this "integration".

Because I have the intrusion panel set up to allow arming when "home" I now have to relays for detection of "armed" so I don´t turn off all the lights when "stay home arming".
