Changing global variable via a virtual button

Question

Posted

Hi

I want to have scenes to be exuceted or not depending on a global variable

So far nothing special

the variable can be 1 (active) or 0 ( not active)

doing this way I put several scenes on active or passive just by changing the global variable

And it is easy to add more scenes afterwards that needs to put active or not in the same way

I read that the only place to change the global variable is in the variable panel which is not visible on the android or ipad

I want to change it via a virtual button to put the global variable to 1 or 0

Is this possible

Thanks

Yes, have your button run this code:

fibaro:setGlobal("ChosenVariableName", "1");

or

fibaro:setGlobal("ChosenVariableName", "0");
