Integration of Caddx NX-8E Alarm Panel

Hi:

Im looking for information about integration of a Caddx NX-8E Alarm.

This panel has a RS-232 input, so probably is possible to set up a virtual device to send (and listen) the required commands.

Ia am also looking for information for a more simple integration, using some relays or universal sensors.

The idea is to have, at least, some basic functionality, like arm / stay arm / disarm . Notifications when breached (hopefully with zone detail) and bypass of zones (if possible)

Any help would be highly appreciated.

arm/disarm is possible. reconfigure 1 zone of youre caddx as a keylock (for arm/disarm)

connect that to youre hc2

configure the caddx when sirine on, close relais 1 or 2, connect with universal module

Hi, I've also an NX8 (not NX8E) in a house I bought. I was thinking of replacing the whole setup until this post suggest it can be integrated to the Fibaro. Were you were successful in connecting the NX to the fibaro?

I have an NX-8, so I don't know if I need an NX507 or NX584 extension module.

In the recent CEDIA EXPO 2014, Fibaro mentioned support of legacy alarm systems.
