Somfy and Fibaro module

demetrio812

Question

Hello,

they suggested me to buy a Somfy electric blind (non RTS)...do you have any experience with non RTS Somfy and Fibaro?

Also, should I buy the "Roller Shutter" or the "Roller Shutter 2", what's the difference and what you suggest with Somfy blinds?

Thanks,

D

demetrio812,

Using non-RTS version will alow you to use all te features and benefits of Roller Shutter module. I definetely recommend using 2nd generation because it supports electronic limit switches as well so you do not need to care about it.

There are many diferences between modules - first of all 2nd gen is more compatibile, it has power metering, lamelas modes, range testers and many more

Please only be sure you will take Somfy Motor for AC current without any additional build-in controllers.
