External WebCam

Hello, i'm new here, got my HCL last week.

Is it possible to add an external webcam.

EG traffic cams or another public cam ?

works fine

IP : 192.168.1.100:8080

jpg path : shot.jpg

set cam to jpg and 5 sec refresh.

all i get is a box with a X in.

I believe you need direct access to the camera, not by a webpage or a picture saved on a server.
