Hi

I've been fiddling with getting energy reporting from non-fibaro - Aeon Labs switches (no fibaro plugs here

/emoticons/default_icon_cry.gif" alt="" /> ) working correctly. I came across a couple of Vera threads where the energy reporting flooded the zwave network causing issues.

I've had such slow response ongoing issues - better with 3.590 but still there.

The device energy readings aren't reported in the event panel - but presumably if are updating ever sec or so may cause major issues. But no way without Z-wave log to know - could this be cause of issues?

Does anyone know if I turn off "show energy consumption" for each device does this stop the device from sending the info or just stops hc2 from showing it? Would guess probably the latter without a parameter change.

Has anyone had similar issues?

I am finding the energy monitoring using these devices to be very flaky.

I am using Micro Smart Dimmer (2nd Ed) devices, also have a energy monitor connected to my mains to read total energy usage but this disappeared from the energy panel recently and I haven't reconnected it yet.

Sometimes I get instantaneous energy readings on the device widgets, sometimes not. Sometimes it is reports hugely inflated values.

At the moment I can get cumulative readings, but not instantaneous readings and nothing is showing up in the energy panel.

I don't have access to the z-wave logs

Has anyone been able to get these to work reliably?

cheers

Peter
