HC2 Availability

Hi Everyone.

Not sure if this is the correct Forum Index...

@FIBARO - When will stock on the HC2 be available again? I live in South Africa and we only have one distributer in the country (www.zasmarthomes.co.za)

I have been waiting almost 2 Months now for my HC2 and over the past months we get told every week "Next Week" "Next Week"

I am at the point of just ordering a VERA (But i would rather not) or something cause this is getting ridiculous now!

Also in the Nederlands and other countries in europe there is no stock. Fibaro has got some problems with it.

Maybe they want to finish the latest firmware and install that on new boxes when shipped.. (sounds like something you could imagine) but still.. that may take ages.

Yep same here in the UK.. I have mine on order for 3 weeks now approx.. just been told that next week UK should have them. (And here is hoping that a HC3 will be released and shipped instead with GSM module built instead of attachable like HCL)

I just got info from Vesternet that they have received stock and mine is on its way to me so hopefully be here tomorrow with me..

Lucky you. I got confirmation today that they are finaly shipping today! (After 2months!)

that is a shame.. Believe me.. the wait is worth it.. however, I am already down on 1 dimmer as I tried to install it and it went up in a big bang.. I had wired it according to the diagram so am hesitant in wiring any more until I understand what happened..

This specific circuit is 2 wire system only. I did follow the diagram which are in the box.. so am not sure what happened there.. have sent off the way I wired to my supplier (Vesternet) who have been very helpful in advising on this.. hopefully they can come back and tell me what I did wrong. I have got my electrician coming in on Friday to look at this too. Not what I wanted but hey.. what can I do?

Ouch. Good luck. If you find something diffirent from the manual please share with us. I myself are a little confused about the wiring as i have seen diffirent ways from the forum and vesternet. We have the 3 wire system here in SA which to me seems even more complicated. But maybe its a good idea to get my electrician to do the first one
