Question

Hi,

I am trying to set Aeon Minimote as remote controller for my blinds (roller shutter v1).

the needed action is that on each click on the remote the blinds will go up / down, if the blinds are on the move, a click on the opposite site will pause the blinds (and not reverse the direction).

i can not figure out how to detect if he blinds are currently moving ... any advise ?

HI:

I used a different approach and its working fine:

Long press up (button 1) - Blind goes up

Long press down (button 3) - Blind goes down

Short press o either one - Blind Stops

That way, you could control two blinds with a Minimote (one with buttons 1&3 and the other with buttons 2&4)

  • I found the solution, used a global variable to store the current moving blinds - this way I can stop it if another press is been done on the remote.

    enjoy ...

create a global variable 'BlindsRemote' before setting this code
