LUA debugger

nadavgo

Question

hi

i would like to have some kind of debugger for lua / fibaro.

i am using tudio.zerobrane.com as IDE and it can run the script via a lua 5.1/5.2 interpreter.

I want to follow loops and variables value, not the actual fibaro activity.

the problem is that each time it sees fibaro:XXXX it crates an error.

i tried to have a null function for it

Please login or register to see this code.

but still it gives me the error below

"attempt to index global 'fibaro' (a function value)"

"attempt to index global 'fibaro' (a nil value)"

any advice how to debug LUA scripts ?

thanks

Nadav

Just some suggestions:

Lua Cheatsheet:

Lua Wiki:

Try online lua code:

And what you're asked for:

Not all of it is working in the Fibaro HC2, but gives you enough guidelines and samples to get things done...
