Remotec ZTS 100 Thermostat

Question

Posted

Has anyone managed to take control of modes and scheduling of the Remotec ZTS battery operated thermostat with HC2?

When paired with the HC2 it appears as a standard thermostat with the ability to set temperature only (not change mode from heating, cooling, auto, off).

This can be achieved with Vera, and device files are available from this source. Can anyone shed any light on how I might create a virtual device based on info from the Vera device files?

mclass,

This thermostat will be fully supported in future software versions.

    Thanks Krystian.

Can you confirm that it's the Remotec ZTS 100 thermostat and not the Remotec ZXT 120 IR extender that you are referring to?

Support for the IR extender is a "must have" for its pre-programmed range of pacjkage a/c units, but the thermostat is now also highly desirable as we have a few in service on Vera systems and would like to continue their use with HC2 installs.

    mclass,

We want to be fully compatibile with as many products as possibile. I can not assure that it will be compatibile just in next alpha, but in general this product should also be supported.

Just wondering whether the ZTS-100 (or ZTS-100) are fully compatible with Fibaro HC2. If they are, in which version of firmware? I am currently running 3.600.
