Can HC2 send UDP string?

Question

Posted

I have a Wifi to IR device which listens on UDP port 80. Is it possible to create a virtual device to send a series of hex commands using UDP?

e.g. 5a:a5:aa:55:5a:a5:aa:55:02:00:d6:a7:ca:53:65:6c:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:70:7c:2a:2a

Never tried it, but should be possible I think:

Thanks! I tried it and it says "[ERROR] 08:10:16: line 1: function or expression too complex near '0xc6'".

Is it because my string is too long? It's 328 hex characters.

Got it to work by concatenating the strings.

Have any body manage to send and control other units with UDP commands from the HC2?
