Hello I'm pretty much new here but, I have some questions / ideas about the FGBS321 Universal Binary Sensor EU.

I know that you can configure it in several ways. But I find the options and settings from which you can choose very limited.

My configuration: I have several FGBS321 installed all as them sensors which leaves you with IND1 and IND2 ports. Some of those I use for scene activation, but others I want to use to display if a electrical machine is active and running with its fixed power consumption ( similar as the relay switch 3kW and the 2x1.5)

Maybe it is a possibility in the sensors main screen to add some more device type and if you could put a value to it..

Fibaro: HC2

8 Dimmers

3 Wallplug

1 Aeon4-1

1Motion Sensor

7 2x1.5 kW switch

4 Universal Binary Sensor

Hello,

We have never considered such functionality since it was not the idea of this device, but it sounds interesting. Could you please describe more detailed what exactly you would like to achieve and what you would like to measure? I am sure we will find some good solution.

    Thank you for your response.

I can give you some examples for what purpose i could use the Universal Sensors input no. 1 & 2

My house is heated by a heat pump system. I would like to monitor this system with the sensors.

When the heat pump is running i could (with an extra relay) use the sensors input 1/2 to translate this to the HC2. This heat pump has a fixed energy consumption so a static number can be used for energy monitoring by the HC2.

This system is equipped with a cooling function. i would like to be notified when this happens and this can be done with the Universal Sensors input no. 1 or 2.

3rd example, I have several machines equipped with a error/malfunction relay, these machines are in places where i dont get every day. A Universal Sensor could notify this..

So a Universal Sensors for monitoring fixed machines, notification of settings and error logging.

Thank you for the explanation. As for now it is possible to monitor the fixed-consumption with Relay Switch modules. Thank you for your suggestion about the UBS.
