Sending shorter impuls

donangelo

Question

Hello

I use the Z-Wave Fibaro Relay Insert 2 * 1.5 KW switch to turn on and off the lights.

Now I have the problem, that Switch 1 turns on the lights, but if I want to turn it of I have to first switch it off on fibaro and then push one again ON, then it turns off. And then send OFF again, that I can switch it ON with OFF.

So SEND ON+OFF to turn it ON

then send ON + OFF to turn it OFF.

What is wrong with my configuration? If I don't send OFF after turning it on, I'm not able to turn it off on the wall switch.

The other problem is with the other light. There also like switch 1 - SEND ALWAYS ON + OFF, but OFF doesn't switch off the lights but only dimm it down.

The switches and lights are all connected with BeamIT Zetrion from Feller, whitch is already a kind of home automatism.

I think now that the Impuls that I send is to long. I had the same problem with the rollershuter, but configure it to 0.1s solved my problem.

Any Idea what could be wrong?

Thank you

Angelo

Check if parameter 14 is set correctly for Toggle/Momentary.

I don't know BeamIT but the dimming issue seems like something is wired strangely.

Thank you. Parameter 14 is set to Toggle, that should be correct in my opinion?

The problem with BeamIT is that the toggle sended is to long, so BeamIT Thinks that I want to dimm it...

But why I have to send ON+OFF+ON to turn it off is not logical for me...

    Thank you

And you have a toggle (bistable) switch and not a monostable/momentary switch? What about parameter 13?

Are you using the Fibaro Home Center? I remember having a similar problem when I got my first Fibaro modules and was using HomeSeer. I had not associated group 3 with the controller.

    Hi Diderik

Parameter is set to default, ON/OFF change state of toggle

I'm using HomeCenter2. Behind it is installed a LED, maybe this is the problem?

    Thank you
