Zwave.me wall controller and scene activation

I have a zwave.me wall controller, I would like to start a scene when one of the buttons is pressed. I added the code below in a scene:

This code works if 17 is a dimmer or anything else, it just doesn't work for the wall controller. Is this a (known) bug or am I missing something?

Thanks, apparently the scene is only triggered when the controller is set to send scenes (parameters 11, 12, 13 and 14 must be set to 4).
