Fibaro Wall Plug dead after taking out of socket

Hi,

I have a Fibaro Wall plug that shows up as a dead node AND can only function again after deleting and re-adding it EVERY time that it is taken out of the socket and thus is without current, even for a few seconds.

Does this mean that the device is faulty and should be sent back ?
