Hi guys

Does anybody know of a work about of getting a value from json?

For example, I will like to get if a device is switch on/off, i used html to get the json format information of the device, but without decoding, I cannot get the value from the full json format.

Anyone has a work about for this?

This?

local Table       = json.decode(tostring(fibaro:getGlobal(GVar)))

then get the values you are looking for using standard lua syntax

if there are keys in the json/table depending on the source data

e.g. local Value = Table["Key1"]["Key2"]

if there are no keys in the json/table use index numbers depending on the source data

e.g. local Value = Table[4][2]

you can also mix the two depending on the source data

e.g. local Value = Table["Key1"][2]
