Why isn't Fibaro a partner of the Apple HomeKit?

Home Kit is really just an App. You should be really happy... Because this will mean that lots of new home automation stuff will pop up. The big problem with home automation so far is that it has been living a bit in the shadows. This is a sort of iPod moment for home automation. I think that this will do to home automation what the iPods did to mp3 and downloadable music content in general.

Having to use your phone each time you want to control doesn't really make much sense! You either need full voice support throughout the house or full on automation and a true smarthome which will do all you ever need without touching any input device. Having to reach for your phone every time you want to turn on a lamp is silly. So for me it really is a question of a signal from Apple more than a move which will make Apple dominate the entire home automation scene!
