Hey Guys,

Newbie on Fibaro (2 days) , first auto lights, sensors installed, really enjoy this.

But I also had problems with motion sensors as above.

disable remote acces, reboot, sensors reconfigure, and wake ups nothing helps..

any idea's ?

D-Vine,

Its a common problem....basically it's down to these sensors flooding waaaayy too much information to the HC2 and it kills them (one way or another).

I have >10 of these and had exactly the same problems. After a LOT of trying this and trying that and, to be honest, not that much external help I worked out the following helps and I never get the temp thing any more and virtually never have problems:

24 to 1

40 to 200

42 to 1800

60 to 1

62 to 1800

64 to 0

Also, you 'can' increase time of wakeup interval and increase 42/62.

You will also notice that there are params around 24 and less that involve tamper alarms. You will find that even a slight 'tap' anywhere near a sensor will set off the tamper alarm as it's set to something like 0.14g (which is tiny) so you can increase this to at least 60 or even turn off tamper violations/reports altogether.

Please do these and let us know how you go. It would help to know if it's just me/my system that this works on or others too.

Oh and by the way I'm running 3.590, have iPad/iPhone apps both working fine and remote access too. I set my house alarm on when I leave and turn it off as I get home. I get the 'odd' false trigger but I've set it to send me a push msg and I can check the video too before deciding whether or not to trigger full alarm etc. So, hopefully this may help fix things for you.

ATB, Dave

PS Forgot to mention that you will always find that the 'last breached' time doesn't always show up right. Sometimes it needs a reboot, sometimes just to 'refresh' the app data, sometimes it just doesn't work. On the iPhone app it doesn't show this anyway but in iPad it's a VERY useful thing so I hope that it is fixed in the future. Also, remember to add useful names to your sensors, say, 'Utility - Eye Motion' etc because if you just say 'Motion Detector' and do that on lots of rooms then, when you look in your iPhone app, you wont know what is what when you have an Alarm Breach.

Any suggestion when a motion sensor is becoming a % meter?

Mine now shows a 0% for no detection and 1% for detection.

menno26, if you are running stable version such behavior can occur, it is the same issue as motion sensor turning into temperature one. It has been fixed in latest releases.
