Questions regarding Roller Shutter

Question

Posted

I have a few questions regarding the use of the roller shutter.

I use it to control my awning.

1) I have been trying to change the standard icon of the roller shutter into one that's representing an awning, but somehow it always changes back to it's original one!

Is it a bug or aren't you allowed to change the icon.

FIXED: I pressed the save button every time and then it changed back to the original icon, if u leave it, without pushing the save button it stays there....strange):

The only problem i have now is that the icon shows the awning is open, but it is closed instead! How can i change that?

2) Currently i have setup the roller shutter as: Blind with position active

The problem is i get 4 buttons: up, down, angle of blinds, pause

Is it possible to just have a up, down and pause button?

I tried to use the garage door settings but they don't work with my awning.

It would be nice to have a specific setting for awnings, to make life easier

3) What's the difference between all of these settings:

A) Blind with position inactive

B) Blind with position active

C) Venetian Blind

D) Garage Door Without positioning

E) Garage Door With positioning

Hi harrytasker, there are a few differences between these modes of operation:

- Blind with position inactive gives you only 2 ways to control the roller blind: fully open or fully closed. Also you can pause the motor, but in such case the image in control panel will be different than actual position of blind

- Blind with position active allows you to control roller blind between its extreme points.

- Venetian Blind gives you possibility to control angle of lamellas

- Garage Door Without positioning: in this mode terminal s2 should be connected to normally closed sensor and only allows you to open or close the gate.

- Garage Door With positioning additionally gives you slider to control door between its extreme points.

If you only want 3 buttons to control the awning you should choose mode without positioning and of course you should calibrate your device.

Sounds like you have wired the up/down wires to your motor backwards. Other option would be or switches backwards but this is less likely.

    Thanks Fat,

I solved inverting the wires UPO/DOWN as you told me.
