Main Loop ERROR escape

ROBBshop

Question

Hello everyone,

I made a loop function to strip readout information. Most times it runs just fine. The problem I have is that if there ever is a error in the main loop it will not restart. It will just stay stuck.

Is there a way to have it escape a ERROR situation, and restart the main loop?

To clarify my sample loop:

Do you need to save variable part1 between iterations? Maybe just assign nil to it at the end of code and use

to check if it was assigned before

  • If I use abort, will the loop restart?

No, it won't. Also "break" instruction will not work. Instead abort instruction, leave this space empty and ensure the rest of code is in "else" block.
