Question

Is it possible to control ZXT-120 to send IR command by using Virtual Device?

I saw something like this in another post and want to discuss more about it. Anyone has any idea?

Code:

POST /docmnd.xml HTTP/1.10x0D0x0A0x0D0x0A

repeat="0"

seq = "0"

ir_data=""

ch="0" >

Unfortunatelly this device is not supported by this version of FIBARO system. However it will be integrated in next updates.

Good morning!

The issue is that even if 3.902 is near to control it, it will only works with AC IR code existing in remotec database while I have here many AC brand which are not part of this list.

So, in order to provide a full use of it, we should know how to recall pre-learned IR code. there's 22 registers which are simply recalled by setting Parameter "34" to "1-22" (related to the corresponding register).

We should simply know how to do it in lua.

EX: Fibaro:sendParameter("2d",5) which would recall the IR code number 5 on 2 bytes.

This way, we can control everything with Virtual devices. This code must exist no??

Dear Fibaro,

Any follow up on how to send a parameter from virtual device like explained above?

It would be really great...
