So far we do not have such plans. But you can try making scene with a few areas as triggering source.

Ok, sorry i made a mistake, you can use geofencing by simply checking in a scene or vitual device if declared position is within some coordinates. And if you want to decrease battery usage, you can enter Access Control Panel ->user's account ->form menu "How frequently GPS [...]" choose Advanced->Schedule. Here you can set different frequencies of sending coordinates to HC.

This is not geofencing as implemented in IOS and the way Hue uses it. The current GPS function in HC2 is useless because of the battery drain

Don't know whether this is helpful; haven't tested it myself yet:

I'm testing Autolocation (plug-in for Tasker) and till now it's giving very promising results.

Today i will do some more testing and let you know.......

I know this is an old thread but it came up for me on Google.

On iOS it is possible to geofence using geofancy it has popped up in a few places on different forums.

I use it to run a scene to let the HC2 know when I'm home or not. If I come home after sunset my outside light comes on which I plan to alter later on when I have a dawn dusk sensor on my system.

I also have set up from an idea on the UK fibaro training to have a snapshot taken from a camera outside the front door when ever the doorbell is pushed when I'm not home. If I am home and in case I'm in the garden or out back with the car I have a push notification instead so far this works very well as long as the scene is set correctly but geofencing would be very useful integrated into the phone apps rather then GPS polling intervals.
