Universal Binary sensor as actuator (decoupled from inputs)

I have the following situation: Two garage doors, one exterior, one interior, that can be operated by closing a contact. But the contacts on the two door openers have different voltage references, so I can't use the typical common input double relays (FGS221). I would have two use two FGS211, or an actuator with two potential-free outputs.

Currently there are not many Z-wave devices that offer two potential-free ouputs controllable from the z-wave network.

The UBS could be used in this way when the inputs are configured as BISTABLE or MONOSTABLE, similar to what is done in other Fibaro actuators. But currently the UBS firmware does not permit this.

Permitting this mode of operation would add a lot of possible uses for the UBS.

If I understand your problem, you could use a FGS221 to power two relays with the same voltage on coil and then control the two different voltages.

By the way, I'd like to have from fibaro a new relay device which can run at 12vdc.

I'm now able to get a couple of FGS221 running at around 20vdc, but I think this is the very minimum.

    Thanks,

In the end it was possible to use the FGS221, since the two devices did not have a shared ground reference. So current could not flow between them.

it is not the optimal setup but it will do.
