Fibaro smoke detektor (or Schneider - Merten Argus)

Anyone having any experience with smoke detectors and z-wave?

I guess the Fibaro one is best at communicating with a HC2. I also see that Schneider / Merten has an Argus connect that I think will work. Also good looking.

What I hate most is false alarms. I guess with a Z-wave system you can easily tell which one is generating the alarm, false or real.

Can you stop the alarm with the app? Or will it continue until the smoke or what triggered it is gone? Which is the common way elsewhere.

Alarm stops only when there is no more smoke in the chamber.

I have been doing a test yesterday.

The alarm stops indeed when there is no smoke anymore. But how do I stop the lights from blinking? (I had to reset the HC2?!)

What type of connection between smoke sensor and lights do you mean?

association. But I think also alarm panel was doing something as they stopped directly when I did a reset of the HC2... Is that possible?

You can make a scene which will disable all lights, add it to alarm panel and run it at desired time after alarm or use it manually from interface.
