Question

Posted

I have a node that delayes to go off.

It's an everspring dimmer plug.

When i give the command to switch all plugs off just 1 is in delay.

There is nothing strange in HC2 and the plug is in the same group as all others.

What is wrong?

Hi Daniel,

Did you physically move the dimmer plug location after you included it in HC2?

If you did, the z-wave network routing for that node might be off causing the delay.

To fix it you need to update your next door neighbor for that node.

See this message from A.Socha on how to do that:

you can rebuild neighbor nodes that can help

create scene lua with that code

Please login or register to see this code.

press start if that is battery device wake up it and wait 1-5m

Best regards,

iblis

Is there a way to do exactly the same with HCL? Or in other words, how to update the neighbours for a particular node using HCL

HCL rebuilds mesh network automatically, it cannot be done manually with the above code.

I have the same problem, but all modules are delayed. Sometimes even not work.

How can I trigger that HCL rebuilds the mesh network for example after having included new nodes???

Ulf100,

It's not possible to manually trigger a rebuild of the mesh network in HCL. Try re-adding some devices that may cause a delay, so HCL can rebuild it automatically.

deanrparry,

HC2 rebuilds the mesh automatically, but You can also do it manually by using scene with:

Any idea when this occurs? upon adding a device? every 24hr? week? many thanks!

deanrparry,

Mesh network is created/updated every time a new device is added or communication problem occurs

You can also trigger a rebuild of each device's path by waking it up (clicking it 3 times).

Remember that battery devices don't repeat signal in mesh network, because they are in sleep time for the most of time.
