Question

Hi,

has anyone created already a script to receive an alert when power goes off? I have HC2 and ADSL router under UPS and would like to receive a warning when power goes off in the house..

I searched the forum but couldn't find it.

Thanks a lot in advance, br

Riccardo

It's possible to poll for dead nodes? Because your relay modules and wall plug all uses power from the main. So if it polls that all are dead, send alert?

Anyone can clarify with my point?

I think that better solution is to use relay with 230V coil. Then attach it to input of UBS and check for change of its state.

    rcanetta,

Please login or register to see this code.

You need to connect UBS (powered from UPS side via 24DC) input to main power source via 230 V relay.

Then, if power goes off, still powered UBS will see that coil changed state and inform You about that through push etc.
