Dbpower DSN-D9 (Maygion / Dericam) PTZ control

goose2600

Question

I had some problems trying to control PTZ movement of my DBPOWER DSN-D9 ipcam through Fibaro HCL web interface.

I found the way... and it could be useful for other users.

Foscam and other ipcams use CGI commands to control PTZ.

Dbpower cams (and Maygion or Dericam) use another set of commands.

LEFT: cmd.xml?cmd=moveptz&tick=100&dir=btnPtzLeft&user=admin&password=admin

RIGHT: cmd.xml?cmd=moveptz&tick=100&dir=btnPtzRight&user=admin&password=admin

UP: cmd.xml?cmd=moveptz&tick=100&dir=btnPtzUp&user=admin&password=admin

DOWN: cmd.xml?cmd=moveptz&tick=100&dir=btnPtzDown&user=admin&password=admin

STOP: cmd.xml?cmd=moveptz&tick=100&dir=btnPtzStop&user=admin&password=admin

(change 'admin' and 'password' with yours)

If you are looking for explanations on other commands, just google "IPCamera AJAX interface".
