Sonos Discontinuing Support for iOS4 & 5 Devices

Just received the following advice from Sonos:

In the coming months, we will release a software update to all Sonos customers with new features for the system. From this point on, iOS4 and 5 devices, including the first generation iPad, iPhone 3G, and second and third generation iPod touch, will no longer function as Sonos controllers.

What it means for you:

When you initiate this update when prompted on any device in your household, your speakers will no longer be able to connect with the devices above. This update is irreversible.

I wonder if this upgrade may effect the current method of Fibaro control, and/or the coming 4.X upgrade?

mclass, our system does not use direct control via iOS, it communicates directly with devices, using SONOS's API. So there is no reason to concerns
