Fibaro Home Center Lite Remote Access

Question

Posted

Hi

I cannot access my HCL remotely via Mobile device or through any other Wifi network other than the Wifi network where the HCL is installed.

I used Fibaro finder to connect through my local network and it worked fine.

Where do I create the Remote access password as this seems to be not the same as the normal log in password?

What is the web address to access the Control Panel?

Thanks

You need an remote access account. You can create on here:

Please login or register to see this link.

this is the web adress you later use to log on your system remote from an web adress.

When you have created an remote user you can both log inn remote on the app in your phone and on home.fibaro.com

    Thank you!

Find it strange that there is no clear manual of the process?

    Hi

I am trying to log into HCL through wifi at work.

See attached screenshot. Nothing happens when I click on the HCL device picture.

Stephan Smit, as you can see, the settings button are inactive, that means that your HCL has no access to remote access. Are you sure controller has access to the internet and in remote access is enabled in configuration?

Taank you it seems that it was the browser. I cannot access through Google Chrome only through Explorer.

I am using HCL as well.

I don't have remote access during the early morning hours only (mostly between 6:00 to 9:00 am). After the update it got better but still quite unsatisfactory, if there is no remote access availble for a few hours every day.

Are the Fibaro servers down at night???

Ulf100, please check if your HCL has internet connection all the time and if so contact our support team: [email protected]

Yes, it has internet all the time! Will contact your support but response times are too long, I am afraid.

I have deleted the recent browsing history (cache) in the Google Chrome Settings and can access the HCL again. Thanks
