Does Parameter 8 on Fibar Motion Eye turn off flashes?

Recommended Posts

I have one room, specifically, that at night I don't want any movement making the Eye flash AT ALL. i.e. not be part of alarm system and, more specifically, not wake my wife up during certain hours.

So, if I set param 8 to '1' will this deactivate flashing at night?

Anyone with knowledge of this that can help would be appreciated.

I know I could just test it it's just I don't need the wife nagging at me!

PS Another question I forgot to ask: The 'LAPD' effect you get on 'tamper', can you set this effect to go off also if and when an alarm goes off i.e. break-in? I quite like it. i.e. one is triggered, sets alarm off and then you set ALL Eyes in house to LAPD? Thatd be quite cool and wake everyone up....even the deaf ones!

dw89,

If You set parameter 8 to '1' the motion sensor is going to be off during night, thus no flashing.

Remember to adjust parameter 9 as well...

This parameter defines the difference between night and day, in

terms of light intensity.
