Hi Everyone,
I've recently purchased a Fibaro HC2 a few days ago and I think it's great. I looked into automating actions for my TV and found that the Sharp Aquos TV remote virtual device did not exist on these forums or anywhere else I searched so I'd like to make this my first contribution. A virtual remote for this TV.
A few caveats:
1. I've just started creating this and it isn't finished. I don't know how to use the slider feature yet so volume isn't implemented. You are welcome to run with this project and post mods.
2. Some of the codes aren't functioning near the bottom (like channel up/down/mute/surround). I included this because it is a work in progress and want to see which codes will/will not work.
3. I've used analogue codes for the TV remote but this can be changed to digital (and further buttons can be added via the Sharp manual):
Here is a link to the TCP commands for the Aquos (Page 59). You can add these commands to the remote.

4. I've borrowed heavily from this post by Krikroff and had some help with the local properties from Daniel of Fibaro UK:

5. Use at your own risk.
The next thing to mention is operation.
You can install the virtual device remote (attached).
You need to make sure that your TV is setup for IP control in the TV network settings. I do not use a username or password in my setup.
IP ON must be activated first and I found I needed to activate this when the TV was on (so that the ethernet is card active). From my understanding, it changes the power mode to enable the ethernet card even in standby mode but this makes the TV consume more power. (I've not tested how much yet though). I've included an IP OFF button to turn off this mode. If IP ON is activated, when in standby, the chevron on the front of the TV will glow.
Thanks,
Andrew
