KFOB:possible to use graphical editor for scene programming?

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I successfully included and configured a zwave.me keyfob that I now want to use for triggering scenes. My question is – is it also possible to configure that by using the graphical editor – without coding it in LUA? (Because in the examples there is always a corresponding LUA coding mentioned)

Thanks and kind regards,

alkorsi

Yes you can use the block logic to program your scenes. Unless you are proficient in lua, otherwise please use block logic to program your scene.

    Hi,

I am not really sure if that works because if I want to react on scene activation I do not have the needed information for that from the KFOB within the block coding. Now I did this with LUA and it works as it should!

    Kind regards,

    Hi alkorsi,

You're correct. You cannot run scene activation from Graphic Blocks, you need to use Lua for that.

    Hope that helps,

    Daniel
