Check if computer is online

I'm using the code below, the problem is that when the computer goes in sleep mode or hibernation and i run the code thru button in VD

It triggers to wake the computer, thats not what i want. Just want to now if its sleeping...

When i using and ordinary ping from other computer it does'nt wake up.

Is it possible to ping in other way in lua?

Or do it some other way, thru arp?

@maxxar, check device manager (enhetshanteraren) and look att properties for your network card. Unchecking "Tillåt att den här enheten tar datorn ur vänteläge" might solve your problem.

It seems like it solved my problems, i choosed to check the box with "Allow only magic packets to wake computer" so WOL would still work.

Please help me to understand:

What is "139" in IP field, is it a port number, or device?

How may I change the icons? Should I name once icon 1002 and another 1001?

almj, 139 is the port.

If you want to change icon

call this method:

fibaro:call(selfId, "setProperty", "currentIcon", 1001); or

fibaro:call(selfId, "setProperty", "currentIcon", 1002);
